Loft & Lie Analysis & Adjustment Service Loft/Lie Checks
The loft and lie angles of your clubs can change drastically over time just through
general practice and play. It is recommended that you check these key measurements
once a season, possibly more often for softer, forged irons.
Our Loft and Lie machine allows us to accurately measure your clubs for these two
figures allowing us to then compare our results with the manufacturers standard
specifications. If we find that any or all of your clubs have changed then we can advise
an adjustment, if not, you have the peace of mind that your clubs are perfect as they
are, ready to help deliver your best possible scores out on the golf course.
If your local to us, then you can also take advantage of our Personal Lie Angle Test.
This involves hitting balls out on to the range and with the use of our Lie Board, Lie
Tape, and a very well trained eye, we can judge whether your clubs have the right lie
angle for you. This is important as even though your clubs may match the
manufacturers specifications, they may not be suited to your swing and body
proportions. They may be too flat or too upright, causing major ball flight and swing
issues, we can find this out and adjust your clubs accordingly.
Loft/Lie Changes
Using our Loft and Lie Machine and Professional Bending Bar, we can safely alter the
lofts and/or lie angles of your irons to the specifications you require.
Correct lie angles in particular are extremely important to delivering your best golf.
Incorrect lie angles can cause issues to your ball flight and direction, usually leading
to swing faults being developed to compensate for this, this simply serves to compound
the problem, ingraining poor swing mechanics which are very difficult to rectify. Having
clubs which fit your swing and body composition is extremely important to building a
fundamentally sound golf swing so get them checked today!
